Pillows are a dividing topic among backpackers. Some people can’t sleep without them, others see them as a complete waste of weight and space. I for one sleep much better with a pillow. Inflatable pillows, however, don’t offer the same comfort and support as my pillow at home does. That’s why I suggest building a comfortable and supportive synthetic pillow.

 

This project makes for an excellent introduction to the MYOG world. It’s simple, functional, and uses few materials. In fact, if you’ve built the synthetic top quilt project we posted not too long ago you might already have all the materials you need left over as scrap. Speaking of materials…
