The Porcupine Mountains (aka the Porkies) are a beautiful little range of mountains located in the far northwest corner of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. They are mostly contained in a state park and the entire area is astoundingly beautiful and unlike anywhere else we have visited. Inside the park you’ll find interesting rock formations, gushing waterfalls, isolated rock beaches with crashing waves, a forest packed full of gigantic trees, and mountains offering views of the surrounding area.
Join us as we take the truck camper throughout the entire park. We’ll set up camp at Presque Isle Campground, explore waterfalls, hike to remote beaches, watch the sunset over Lake Superior, search for Yooperlights, and so much more.
Ready to continue the journey? You can find all of our truck camper episodes (past & future) in our playlist here.
